It is such a great feeling to know that I have had so much support in my life. On December 12th, I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with my Master of Arts in English Literature and I was overwhelmed with love from my family. I couldn’t say thank you enough to you all for your kind words, your gifts, and your presence on that day. Lord knows I couldn’t have done it without your support.
So, as I currently wallow in the blues of post-grad life, I think I will reminisce a little on that day. It was a beautiful seventy degrees day, which is odd for December. I wore a little, sleeveless, black dress that was perfect for the occasion. We began the day with a brunch to celebrate–champagne and all. Then, the ceremony began at 1:30 in the Ballroom of the student commons. There were only four of us graduating with our Masters, and it was an honor to walk beside them. Congrats to all the December 2015 graduates out there!
Here are the many pictures we took. Hope you enjoy them:
I’m a lucky girl. 🙂
